The goal of the Windrush School Library is to empower students to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information. Our print and electronic resources are selected to support the curriculum as well as to provide materials for personal choice and exploration for the entire range of students in Kindergarten through Eighth grade. The role of the school library media specialist includes collaborating with teachers to integrate information, technology, and research skills into the curriculum, as well as motivating and guiding students to appreciate literature and love reading.
