The Farm Stand is a subscription program providing more than 100 boxes of fresh, local organic produce to Windrush families and friends. This program–which began as an experiment in 2007–brought our community more than 16 tons of fresh produce and about 20 chicks directly from farmers. Farm Stand volunteers and students separate produce into individual shares that get picked up Wednesday afternoons. The Farm Stand brings the most delicious Bay Area bounty to families each week while raising school funds and supporting the local economy. Ordering for your family, friends, neighbors or co-workers will help this program grow. It may just be the best thing you've ever tasted from a fundraiser!
The Farm Stand also needs volunteers to help assemble fruit and veggie boxes on Wednesdays, from noon to 1:30 p.m! Please email Carrie O'Brien to sign up as a volunteer!
