DAY OF SERVICE, A FABULOUS SUCCESS–Thanks to the many families and friends who participated and donated, the April 25 Day of Service brought many projects to fruition on our campus and at Civicorps Elementary School! It was truly a day of building, community and roots attended by over 150 parents, children and friends. Participants rolled up their sleeves to paint, plant, weed and prepare fabulous meals to raise money for the Windrush tuition assistance program. Our crew at Civicorps painted classrooms, installed a sink in the art room, put up window shades and laid flooring. Between a broad range of gardening-related jobs on the Windrush campus, children enjoyed art and nature projects, story time and jumping in the bounce castle. Thanks to the work of many helping hands we have a spruced up campus and new Learning Garden!
