Board of Trustees

Windrush School is a non-profit organization governed by a Board of Trustees. The Board formulates the school mission and develops the Strategic Plan, policies and resources to ensure the school’s mission is fulfilled. The Head of School is the professional, institutional and educational leader of the school, and has complete authority for faculty, staff and student selection, evaluation and dismissal. The Board and the Head work in partnership to ensure the school achieves the Strategic Plan’s objectives in a manner that is consistent with Windrush School’s core values. The President of the Windrush Family Association and the Head of School are ex-officio voting members of the Board. Board committees include Executive, Audit, Development, Finance, and Committee on Trustees.

All Board and committee members generously volunteer their time, resources and expertise. Their dedication and hard work enable Windrush to maintain high educational standards. We strongly encourage interested parents to notify Board members or the Head of School of their interest to serve in support of the Board or its committees.
