Sea Urchins!
By, me, Devin G.
The sea urchin's scientific name is Stronglocentrotus purpuratus.
The closest relatives are the Red urchin, and the Purple urchin. The sea urchin lives within the kelp forest at the bottom of the sea. The sea urchin does not spend it's life in the kelp forest, they live in the kelp forest, but not all the time, it lives in the east cost and persian gulf. Sea urchins eat kelp and it captures it by the upper tube, feet grab at algae as it gaffs by and other tube feet transfer the kelp to the mouth on the underside against the rock. The sea urchin eats mostly dead fish, sea sponges, alge, musles, barnacales, and plants. Creachers that eat sea urchins are crabs, seaotters, birds, fish, wolf eels, and people.
